Why does Eco Fresh Water donate to charities
We believe if we are asking the community to support us; we should support our community; and who more deserving in our communities than those that need support. We’d like to think that our company’s charitable donations could help in the effort to cure disorders, or support those with the disorder. We hope our donation can have a dramatic impact on others and makes our communities better places to live.
We currently support 2 worthwhile charities. The first ‘Muscular Dystrophy’ is within our family and we have witnessed first hand what this deliberating disorder can do to those that have it. The second is one of our customers ‘Cystic Fibrosis Queensland’ and they do tremendous work in supporting families impacted by the disorder, especially those from regional parts of Queensland who aren’t as fortunate as some of us living close to medical expertise.
We hope it also might motivate some our our customers to donate to worthwhile causes that have relevance to them. A percentage of our profits go to the charities annually and if you would like to know more about the disorders or donate to our chosen charities as well, go to our charities page.

Words from supported charities
Cystic Fibrosis is the most common inherited, life threatening disorder in Australia. One child is born every 4 days with Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is a seriously life limiting condition which affects mainly the lungs and digestive system. Currently, there is no cure. CFQ appreciates Eco Fresh Water’s support and advocacy on our behalf. Fundraising is no easy task; gaining support from friends, family and the wider community makes the world of difference to the success and makes all the hard work worthwhile. It also demonstrates to us a community that cares. If you have any queries or want further information, please don’t hesitate to contact CFQ on fundraising@cfqld.org.au

Muscular dystrophy is a cause that’s close to our hearts. It’s a genetic condition that causes progressive muscle weakness, often resulting in profound physical disability. So many families live without a cure each day so we’ve chosen to support Muscular Dystrophy Queensland to help them continue providing life changing equipment, crisis support and health services for Queensland families living with these conditions.
